In an emotional YouTube vlog, Isabella, who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 2023, tearfully explained how she had to endure an unexpected third craniotomy just a month after her second surgery. “I was so close to finishing my treatment, but now everything’s changed because of a stupid head infection,” she said, overwhelmed with emotion.
A Challenging Journey of Pain and Resilience
Isabella’s first surgery in October 2023 was to remove a large medulloblastoma. But just as her health seemed to be improving, things took a turn for the worse. The surgery to drain fluid from her brain was necessary after complications arose. She revealed how physically and emotionally draining the surgeries and treatments have been, as she battles severe pain from the IVs, picc line, and chemotherapy port attached to her body.
“It’s been incredibly hard to cope with the pain,” Isabella admitted, breaking down in the vlog. “I’ve been bawling my eyes out when I found out my chemotherapy had to be postponed.” The delay means her treatment won’t be completed until the summer, instead of wrapping up by May as she had originally hoped.

Despite the heartbreaking setback, Isabella remains strong and determined. “I’m feeling a lot better now after my third surgery,” she said. “But the pain still lingers, and the road to recovery isn’t going to be easy.”
